It’s the final build to Halloween Havoc ’89, featuring THUNDERDOME!!! Sound bites are back in full effect as we cover the final two weeks of October ’89 TV, and all of the news and notes leading into the PPV.

Kevin Sullivan gets yanked from the Doom stable.  The outstanding booking of the Midnight Express/Dynamic Dudes storyline. OILY Anderson joins Funk’s Grill. We get a look at the real-life Luchador who inspired Nacho Libre, Friar Tormenta. The Terminators confirm no liability as to their parts in Thunderdome. Plus, the Z-Man is ready for Halloween Ha-Vock!

Missy discusses being told she was “fat” and sounded “too southern” for TV, and the complex she developed because of it. Miss Hyatt also speaks on the “coincidence” of being able to return to TV in 1990 after her divorce from Gilbert was finalized! Wow…

Chris Cruise makes his NWA debut as we see a loaded show! Action with Sting, the Steiners, Terry Funk, and U.S. Champion Lex Luger. Jim Ross interviews Gary Hart & Terry Funk. Flyin’ Brian talks the Total Package. Plus, Brian Pillman teams up with the Z-Man to take on the New Zealand Militia.

No less than eleven matches stack this card, featuring the likes of the NEW Fantastics, the Z-Man, Sid Vicious in a handicap match, the Dudes, Norman, Tag Champion Freebirds, Mike Rotunda, Dr. Death, Flyin’ Brian, the Steiners, and U.S. Champion Lex Luger. The Dynamic Dudes find themselves in trouble when the Birds attack, and Cornette must call the calvary in the Midnight Express. Promos with Dr. Death, the Roadies, Teddy Long & Norman, the Birds, Funk & Hart, Lex Luger, Ric Flair, Sting, Ole Anderson, and the Z-Man talks more Halloween Ha-Vock!  Plus, the angle continues between the Dudes and Midnights… Listen to how the Midnights respond in a tremendous post-match promo! As time ticks down to the Thunderdome, Gordon Solie interviews both sides… First, it’s Gordon with Funk & Gary Hart, then Flair and Ole Anderson respond. Tag action with the Skyscrapers. Sting takes on Wild Bill Irwin. Plus, we fantasize a Christmas Carol outcome with Ole Anderson as Scrooge.

Road Warrior Animal battles Dan Spivey in a Captain’s Match. The SST team with Samoan Savage vs. Scott Hall, Tommy Rich, & Richard Sartain. Terry Funk meets the Italian Stallion. Plus, Kevin Sullivan joins Terry Funk’s Grill to talk Doom, on the same day Jim Herd pulls Sullivan from the stable.

Gordon Solie steps in for Ross as host this week with FOURTEEN MATCHES on this action-heavy episode of WCW featuring Sting vs. Italian Stallion, Flyin’ Brian, Dr. Death, the Steiners, Norman, the Skyscrapers, Z-Man, the SST, New Zealand Militia, Samoan Savage, the Midnights, Roadies, the Birds, and Ranger Ross! Final hype promos from Lex Luger, Dr. Death, Terry Funk, and Michael Hayes. Gordon Solie talks with Sting, Flair, and Ole Anderson.
