Terrific Terry Taylor finds some gear in a garbage can. Plus, 1993 Shawn Michaels battles 2021 Shawn Michaels… No wait, that’s just Skinner. Eerie similarities though. WWF Mania Debuts! 1/9/93 (01:11:29)
We are introduced to Todd Pettingill, the newest member of the announce team. Our first Mania Exclusive features Hacksaw taking on the Repo Man. And, in a very unique angle for the WWF in this era, Razor Ramon takes out Owen Hart in the locker room making things personal with the Hitman as he heads into the Rumble to challenge for the WWF Title.

Action involving Crush, the Nasty Boys, Yokozuna, Marty Jannetty, and the Headshrinkers. Bill Alfonso is now a WWF referee, and for very good reason! Plus, we hear from the Macho Man, Big Boss Man, and the Steiners as the Rumble gets closer.

WWF Monday Night Raw 1/11/93 (01:20:05)
UNCOOKED, UNCUT, AND UNCENSORED… It’s the DEBUT edition of MONDAY NIGHT RAWWWW! Bobby Heenan does his best to sneak into the show while Yokozuna & Koko B. Ware make history as they’re the first match to go on the air for the new program. We get our first look at the Raw Girls. Vince interviews Razor Ramon about his match with WWF Champ Bret Hart at the Rumble. The Steiners destroy the Executioners, Damien Demento faces the Undertaker, and IC Champ Shawn Michaels battles Maxx Moon. Who was Mitch Frerotte? Doink continues to toy with Crush. Plus, the unfortunate debut of Rob Bartlett, complete with many train wreck sound bites from Bartlett’s initial broadcast. Oof.

Ray Rougeau interviews IC Champ Shawn Michaels about his upcoming defense against former partner Marty Jannetty at the Rumble. Action with Razor Ramon, the Nasty Boys, Yokozuna, and Tatanka. Virgil replaces Hacksaw at the Rumble. Bret Hart seeks revenge for his brother Owen against the Bad Guy. Only 29 men announced for the Rumble??? Plus, after a victory in the ring, Crush is met ringside with an apology from Doink, only to be stretchered out of the building thanks to the Prince of Pranks.

WWF Mania 1/16/93 (01:57:49)
Two, count them TWO Mania Exclusives this week. From the first Raw Tapings Yokozuna squashes Jim Powers. Plus. El Matador battles “Wild” Bill Irwin in what was a tryout match for the future Goon.

WWF Wrestling Challenge 1/17/93 (01:58:37)
Ric Flair takes on a noticeably “off the gas” Jimmy Powers. Matches with Bam Bam Bigelow, the Undertaker, Razor Ramon, and the final appearance of Lance Cassidy. Bobby Heenan with Narcissus Promo #3. Plus. Ray Rougeau interviews Mr. Perfect who strikes a nerve with the Nature Boy and we wind up with a really fun (and great) segment between Hennig & Ric Flair.

WWF Monday Night Raw 1/18/93 (02:04:19)
The Macho Man learns the lesson to pay his bills on time when he has his hat REPOSSESSED. Mr. Perfect takes on Terrific Terry Taylor, or is it THE RED ROOSTER??? Vince talks to WWF Champ the Hitman as Bret discusses seeking revenge and defending his title against Razor Ramon at the Rumble. Marty Jannetty meets the future Headbanger Thrasher. Macho wants a piece of the Repo Man! Ric Flair wrestles El Matador, but the real story here is the continuing issues between Ric and his former friend Mr. Perfect. By the end of the program, we get two heated promos from Flair and Hennig which sets up next week’s Loser Leaves Town match!

WWF Superstars 1/23/93 (02:24:20)
It’s the weekend of the Royal Rumble but thanks to Doink the Clown, we learn that Crush is OUT of the 30-Man extravaganza. Macho & Lawler argue about who will win the Rumble match. Matches include the Undertaker, Marty Jannetty, Papa Shango, Bam Bam Bigelow, and the newly turned babyface Kamala with his new ADVISOR, the reverend Slick! Plus, in another great segment for its time… Ray Rougeau interviews WWF Champ Bret Hart in front of the crowd, but things get interesting when Razor Ramon appears on the video screen wall to argue with the Hitman. Razor OWNS this segment. GREAT STUFF!!!

WWF Wrestling Challenge 1/24/93 (02:32:45)
Action involving Papa Shango, the Nasty Boys, Yokozuna, Bob Backlund vs. Louie Spicolli, and Tatanka battles Iron Mike Sharpe. Hacksaw talks Headlock on Hunger. Gorilla agrees with the Brain on the “exciting” Bob Backlund. Our final Rumble Report. Bobby Heenan now refers to the debuting mystery man as “THE NARCISSIST”! Plus, Reno Riggins busts out a handspring elbow when he takes on IC Champ Shawn Michaels to close the program.

WWF Monday Night Raw 1/25/93 (02:37:54)
The Macho Man exacts some revenge, and more importantly gets his hat back, when he takes on the Repo Man. Babyface Kamala battles the Brooklyn Brawler, who also happens to portray Kim Chee. Oh, the irony… Plus, it only took 3 weeks but Bobby Heenan joins the broadcast booth this week to help sell the feature match. Speaking of which… Mr. Perfect meets Ric Flair in a LOSER LEAVES TOWN MATCH. This match proves to be an instant classic as the two have a very NON-WWF style match for the time, complete with a blade job by Curt Hennig!

Next week is the ROYAL RUMBLE ’93 WATCH-ALONG! Including the announcement of the Winner of the FREE PRIZE GIVEAWAY of the AUTOGRAPHED BRET HART 8×10 Promo Pic!
