On this week’s episode, we revisit the July 10th 1993 episode of USWA Championship Wrestling! Fresh off regaining the Unified World title from Owen Hart on July 5th, Bert Prentice introduces a new challenger for the King who promises to “drain all the blood of the King’s living body!” Johnny Polo reappears after being AWOL for a few weeks to take on the “Fabulous One” Jeff Jarrett! Polo also introduces us to his friend, the Disco Inferno who is here to challenge “Nightmare” Danny Davis for the USWA Middleweight title!
Bert Prentice now manages the new USWA Tag Team Champions “Principal” C.W. Bergstrom & Melvin Penrod Jr but Bert’s “other tag team” Simply Divine want their shot at the titles, Bert’s time as Doll & King’s manager may be done, perhaps even….”WELL DUNN”. Plus: Scott Taylor & Randy Rockett in tag team action and the main event of the show is Jerry ‘the King’ Lawler vs. Brian Christopher w/Miss Simpson!
