Terry Funk and Ric Flair lay it all on the line as they discuss their upcoming “I QUIT” Match. The Steiners nearly kill a guy. Gordon Solie hits another home run. J-Tex unveils Mr. J. Ratings are on an upswing. Dr. Death vs. Sid Vicious! Norman finds a friend. A rare 4-Corner Elimination match in 1989! Woman has a good IDEAR. The THIRD Laurinaitis brother makes his debut. Plus, November begins “Dream Match” month…. But who’s the one doing the dreaming?

Jim Ross talks with both Terry Funk and Ric Flair about their “I Quit” Match at the Clash. Promos from Teddy Long, Lex Luger, Kahuna Humperdink and his Samoans. We get our very first STARRCADE ’89 Ad! A disappointed Jim Cornette is CONTRACTUALLY OBLIGATED to appear at the Clash! Ric Flair meets Lee Scott, with Terry Funk standing by. In the second Dream Match of the night, the Italian Stallion replaces an injured Tommy Rich to take on The Great Muta for the TV Title in a surprisingly competitive encounter. Dr. Death has a present for Norman, and Teddy Long doesn’t approve. Interviews with Dr. Death, Woman, Lex Luger, and final words from Ric Flair before the Clash. Action with the likes of Ron Simmons of Doom, Norman, the Steiners, Z-Man, Samoan Savage, Midnight Express, Ranger Ross, and the SST. Plus, for those who are gluttons for punishment, Michael Hayes returns to do color commentary this week.
