Now that we’ve made it through the year of 1993 in the World Wrestling Federation we take the time to go back and perform a sort of Year-in-Review episode as we give out a few awards including Wrestler of the Year, Tag Team of the Year, Match of the Year, Jobber of the Year, and even a “BIGGEST BUST” award. We even spend a considerable amount of time discussing what’s to come in 1994 for many of the superstars in the WWF.
From there the show turns to a special “ASK US ANYTHING” segment where host Ray Russell answers approximately 40 of the listeners’ questions ranging from questions about the Podcast Network, to wrestling memories, memorabilia, future projects, wrestling announcers, favorite & least favorite PPVs, Ray’s favorite incarnation of the Duke Boys (Bo & Luke or Coy & Vance)???, and Ray’s personal (and VERY candid) take on the ongoing issues involving Tammy “Sunny” Sytch.
What was expected to be a “throwaway” episode heading in, turned out to be a real blast and a pleasure to be part of. Enjoy this laid-back episode of the Grenade before we return next week with Episode #58 where we set the stage for 1987 IN THE WWF!
