Merry Christmas everyone! As we head into December on the WCW side of things, we look at the fallout from the World War 3 PPV, the Monday Night “Runovers” begin, Hulk Hogan goes Bonzo Gonzo with a chair, the Japanese ladies put on a hell of a show, and Charles Barkley appears!
 
 Then over in Titan-land, the WWF attempts to get edgier with their product, Brother Love returns, the Japanese ladies out on a hell of a show (yes in WWF too!), plus Vince McMahon shames the fans for their thirst for action!

  • In a rematch from WW3, Bull Nakano & Akira Hokuto face Cutie Suzuki & Mayumi Ozaki in the best segment of the show!
  • Hulk Hogan takes on the latest member of the Dungeon of Doom, Hugh Morrus. We discuss Hulk’s physical transformation into a mere mortal, the crowds turning on the Hulk, and Hogan’s insecurities at the time. 
  • The Macho Man tries to take a rest day to heal his arm but is attacked and CHOKESLAMMED on the floor by the Giant. But that’s okay because it’s HULK HOGAN to the rescue, brother. Watch as Hulk swings the chair 11 times at the Giant. Some of them even connect!
  • Sting & Lex Luger battle Arn Anderson & Brian Pillman of the Horsemen in the main event. 
  • Ric Flair joins his Horsemen friends in a 3 on 2 beatdown of Lex & Sting, but that’s okay because it’s HULK HOGAN to the rescue… AGAIN, brother.

  • Ahmed enters Dean Douglas’ classroom and schools in session
  • We get an update on the condition of Shawn Michaels. We discuss our thoughts back then when the angle first played out. Steve discusses his lack of emotional investment during this time period.
  • Alundra Blayze teams with Kyoko Inoue to take on Aja Kong & Tomoko Watanabe in the match of the night! Yes, the ladies’ match stole the show on BOTH WWF and WCW this week!
  • Vince McMahon can’t decide if he wants to be racist or sexist as he spends the entire ladies match ignoring the action in favor of doing a poor imitation of Bobby Heenan jokes.
  • BROTHER LOVE makes his return with guest the NEW WWF Champion Bret Hart. 
  • Bob Backlund finds himself in the midst of another push as he attacks WWF Champ Bret Hart, and even co-host Steve Eckstat finally drops the F-Bomb at the booking!
  • Hunter Hearst Helmsley prepares for the Hog Pen Match with Henry Godwinn
  • “Career Ender” Owen Hart issues an Open Challenge for In Your House

 WCW Monday Nitro 12/4/95 (01:27:17)
  • WCW comes down on their talent, putting several wrestlers on “Probation”
  • WCW Tag Champs Harlem Heat vs. Uhhh, American Males
  • Col. Robert Parker has a surprise for Sister Sherri, in more ways than one!
  • Can Sting and Lex Luger continue to be best buddies with Starrcade looming?
  • Sting takes to the ring against Japanese star Kurasawa
  • We talk the layout of Starrcade ’95 as WCW tries yet another “concept” PPV.
  • The Giant battles Scott Norton in a quick but fun match
  • Ric Flair brings Sir Charles Barkley to ringside for a promo that’s not TERR-ible.
  • BIG MAIN EVENT as WCW World Champion Macho Man defends against Lex Luger in the longest match in Nitro to date. It also marks the beginning of the Nitro runovers on time as WCW finds another way to skew the ratings!
  • The Macho Man can’t handle business himself so HULK HOGAN books himself into yet another finish again this week. 
  • The Hulkster accidentally blasts Sting! Watch as the top stars of WCW have a playground conversation as they hash out their Junior High issues. 

 WWF Monday Night Raw 12/4/95 (01:55:02)
  • Dean Douglas gives his notice and conveniently has “back issues”. Hey, who are you to doubt the “RanchFries”?
  • The Bulldog battles Bob Holly
  • Bob Backlund wants to be GOD…. AGAIN??!??
  • Fatu busts out the Diamond Cutter as he takes on the Brooklyn Brawler
  • Bob Backlund attacks a poor sound guy.
  • We find out who has accepted Owen Hart’s Open Challenge for IYH!
  • IC Champion Razor Ramon defends against Dean Douglas. Listen as Steve creates excuses at every corner for the underperforming “RanchFries” Shane Douglas.
  • Brother Love returns this week with guest KING MABEL. Love has a special surprise for the Kiiiing.
  • The Raw Bowl is coming!
  • Marty Jannetty battles Sycho Sid in the main event with appearances from the 1-2-3 Kid and Razor Ramon.
  • Dr. Jeffrey Unger gives an update on the condition of Shawn Michaels, and it doesn’t sound pretty.
  • We close the show with a semi-shoot style video featuring Vince McMahon on commentary. Listen to the clip as Vince makes veiled comments that question the legitimacy of pro wrestling, and all but blames the fans’ never-ending thirst for action as the main reason for Shawn’s collapse. An amazingly done piece that we relive for the first time in nearly 25 years!
